I am sure you have all read that we have sold and the studio is closing in May! So I thought what better way to say goodbye to the studio than with a Studio Portrait Fundraiser. Meaning we can hopefully raise some funds and have as many back through the doors for one final goodbye to my Warnbro studio.
This blog has everything you need to know about the sessions including terms and conditions. Also covers the selected charity and further on you will see the booking calendar.

Professional editing of final image emailed directly to you
100% of session fees will go to local charity The Lung Warrior Incorporated
Plus 50% of any upgrades on the day will also be donated
Who is The Lung Warrior Incorporated?
They are a local non-for-profit organisation that is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC). The organisation was founded in August of 2021 post a personal journey that is very special and close to their hearts.
Wal-yan Respiratory Research Centre at Perth Children’s Hospital state that medical research over the past few decades have shown out of 40 million deaths from non-communicable diseases worldwide, 25% of these deaths are caused by diseases of the respiratory system that begin in childhood such as asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, COPD and cystic fibrosis. They also quote that, acute respiratory infections including bronchiolitis, pneumonia and influenza are the major cause of hospital admissions and mortality in children worldwide.
The Lung Warrior Incorporated aim to support each and every child and their family suffering with Lung conditions in Western Australia and to provide awareness and education of Lung conditions and respiratory health.
Who are Fundraising Sessions suitable for?
Aimed for those families just wanting one family photo, those who want an updated professional portrait of their child or anyone wanting a refreshed professional head shot. Anyone who wants to get a professional portrait and support a local charity.
For those with multiple children or babies who need a little longer to warm up. Or those who would like individual photos of their children and or family photos you can book back to back sessions to give you longer in front of the camera and more images to select from. Each session fee will include one extra Digital image, for example book two sessions, receive longer in front of the camera & two digital images. Due to such short time restraints, these sessions are not suitable for large groups, extended families etc.
Questions Answered…..
Do I pick my photo?
These sessions aren’t designed for you to select your image due to the time restraints however I have allowed a little longer per session. If time allows you may be asked to select an image from back of the camera however you will be booking with the understanding that I will be selecting the best image for you.
Please remember this is a charity event and no refunds will be given and no additional images can be purchased from the session after the day. We will do our best to get as many through whilst still providing the best service and quality photo.
Can you upgrade?
If time allows, upgrades will be available on the day for those who would like to upgrade. Extra images would be $75 each & need to be paid with cash on the day.
50% of any upgrades will also be donated
I think I may need a longer session….
For those who are overdue for family photos and are wanting a full studio session before we close our Warnbro space please contact me here. Fundraising sessions are much quicker sessions with less flexibility so not the most suitable thing for you.
I am opening up a few family portrait spots on the 28th of April for those people wanting a to book those. Although not technically part of the Fundraiser, I will be donating part proceeds of these also. If you are interested in these please contact me as they will not be released publically.
How Do I Book?
Read over the conditions below before booking as there will be no refunds under no circumstances.
Go to the booking calendar at the bottom of this page.
Select your preferred time slot. When you click on it, you will have the option to select and continue or to select another time slot. If no times are showing this means we are fully booked. If this is the case you can contact us to go on a wait list for if we have any last minute cancellations or something happens and we can open more spots.
Follow the prompts to secure your time/s.
Head Here to make payment for your full session fee. Your session will not be secured until full payment is made under the same name as the booking. If not made within 24 hours your session will be cancelled so others can book it. This is the same for each time slot booked, they all need to be fully paid within 24 hours of booking.
Keep an eye on your email and junk folders as you will receive a guide within days of booking. The guides will have important information that you will need including where to park and the address etc. We are not able to be contacted on the Fundraiser day due to being busy shooting so any questions need to be asked before the day.
Upgrades may be possible on the day but please bring along cash so it is quicker to sort on the day as we will not be accepting card or bank transfer.
Trouble Shooting - If for some reason the booking calendar doesn’t show up for you, please try on a different browser (ie. computer or device). Every now and then past clients have issues with cache’ problems, this is an issue on your device not with the booking system.
CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Full payment is expected within 24 hours of booking and your session will be cancelled if this is not done.
Sessions are not suitable for large groups and extended families. Due to the short time frame this is just not suitable. If you are unsure if it is suitable for you please contact us before booking.
If you have a baby under 3 months of age it is recommended to book back to back spots in case bub is unsettled. Or contact us about our longer sessions that will be happening on the 28th of April.
No refunds or credits will be given for no shows or those who cannot make it for any reason. All funds will already be donated. You can gift your session if you cannot make it for any reason.
Sessions run to a strict schedule so if you run late you will not be offered another time. So it is imperative that you are on time or you will forfeit your session.
You understand that you will only see the images if time allows on the day. And that if time doesn’t allow that you trust the professional opinion of the photographer in selecting your image.
