The Beauty Of Nude Maternity
Pregnancy. I would have to say as a women it is the most incredible times of our lives and as I get older I feel a sense of privilege. Not only for being able to carry 4 healthy babies to term myself but also being able to capture this amazing time in my clients lives. I know during pregnancy it’s sometimes hard to see ourselves as beautiful as our body is changing so rapidly. But trust me looking back with nothing from that time from mine, it is something you will treasure in years to come. I mean it’s sometimes think it’s more scary than beautiful but I see the beauty in ever bump and it brings me so much joy to be able to celebrate the womens body in these beautiful nude portraits I am now offering in studio.
It was so wonderful to capture these elegant and graceful images for my beautiful friend Corinna that she can treasure forever. The womens body doing something only we can do in it’s purest form.

Newborn Session – Aisla
Miss Aisla came into the studio last week for her newborn session and I must say I am always excited when the parents have special requests. Especially when it is something meaningful like bringing their culture into some of the photos. Beautiful little Aisla is lucky enough to have not 1 but 2 beautiful cultures to celebrate. Ashah (Mum) who who wanted to celebrate her Aboriginal culture and Dad Ben who wanted to incorporate his Maori culture. Two beautiful cultures combined to create something super special in the form of a magical little girl.
Newborn Sessions
Are you expecting? I take very limited numbers of newborns per month due to the fact I prefer to do their photos in the first 2 weeks. And of course they never tend to go on their due date. This leaves a very short time frame to fit them in. It’s never too early to secure your dates. I lock in your due month and we lock a date in as soon as Bub arrives. As you can see from Aisla’s session, I am more than happy to incorporate special requests where possible. Please contact me if you have anything in particular you are after.
Bookings
Can you believe I am already having bookings for Jan 2020?! Newborn photos are invaluable so I always suggest booking early to avoid missing those first precious moments. Prices will also be increasing in 2020 but all bookings done before prices are confirmed will be locked in at 2019 pricing. Feel free to message me to discuss your options. Newborn Photos – Neath
As you would know from a previous blog, I have photographed this beautiful family for each and every new arrival. So it was of course a pleasure when Mr Neath arrived earlier this month and came for his newborn photos. All of Jo and Gav’s babies have looked so similar! But as you can see by Eira and Brecon they grow into their own little person with big beautiful personalities and I have no doubt Neath will be the same.
I love including the whole family with my newborn sessions. Generally we get the family and sibling photos done first so Dad can take the kids for some special one on one time and I finish the newborn session with the new addition whilst Mum relaxes. Win win for everyone and the kids love the fact they get Dad to themselves for a while. And of course Mum’s always love to relax 😉
